Trained up and ready to get growing!

A new group of food-growing novices have graduated from the 'Introduction to Food Growing' course at the Community Allotment. The free course, which included sessions on seed sowing, transplanting, pest control, composting and permaculture, was attended by 15 local residents. The feedback was great, with one attendee saying she 'loved it' and another saying she had 'learnt some very interesting tips'.

Thanks to all who attended, and the volunteers, Sue, Phil and Jelly, who helped run the sessions.
